Look, nothing can replace a good basic pattern. Perfect for putting your own Fairisle/colourwork on the front, for showing off a snazzy self-striping yarn, for dropping one stitch in the middle of the front and it's really obvious cos there's nothing to hide it. 

This jumper is knitted in the King Cole Majestic DK, a fantastic wool/acrylic yarn with a great range of colours. Other options include literally anything, it's a basic pattern you can do what you want with! But for the aforementioned "snazzy self-striping yarn", the King Cole Riot DK would certainly take you there.

Knitted on 3.25mm and 4mm Straight Needles and stitch holders.
