You might know how I feel about ponchos, and I might also say quite often that I quite like the specific poncho that I'm talking about. It's actually the truth on this one - I don't mind the square shape, I love the cable, I think the basic moss stitch type pattern will keep it an interesting knit, and I love to see those necks even if I can't wear them myself!

In terms of the accessories I think the scarf is a great one for beginners, so if you're sidling up to something like the poncho, you may as well buy the pattern, do the easier bits, and then let loose!

Knitted in King Cole Big Value Super Chunky Tints. You will also need 10mm and 8mm needles. For the poncho, you'll need a cable needle and stitch holders too!
