You might know how I feel about children, but I like them a lot more when they're dressed like they have hippie parents and they're at a festival in Cornwall, which is what the purple garment evokes for me. I love the hood, I love the pockets, I love how comfortable and practical it is. I think the blankets could be cute in different yarns as well, and would be gorgeous in just a solid silver colour - they'd be really modern. This is a really versatile pattern, as you can see! 

These are knitted in King Cole Yummy and Comfort Chunky, and you'll need 5.5mm and 6mm needles. Don't forget the buttons!
