This is a beautiful set of patterns that uses a lace and cable pattern to produce a wonderful texture to the garments. 

Knitted in King Cole Cherished DK (solid) and King Cole Cherish (variegated) but you may want to try a cotton yarn like King Cole Cottonsoft DK for a lovely summer garment. 

This set of patterns require a variety of needles and haberdashery depending on your choice. You will need a  3.75mm and 4mm straight needles and two cable needles. You will also need buttons to finish both the dress and cardigan and a length of elastic if you are giving the trousers a whirl.
