Normally I* would insert some kind of thinly veiled sarcasm when describing these poncho patterns - but King Cole has won me over. These ponchos are a great autumn garment - warm, fashionable and perfect as the next step on from scarves for a newbie knitter. 

They are knitted in King Cole Timeless Super Chunky, soft with a lovely halo of fuzziness from the 10% alpaca content in the yarn. If you fancied trying a variegated yarn, I would recommend the marled King Cole Stormy Super Chunky which will show off that chevron lace pattern but not disguise it. 

You will also need 10mm needles for these projects.
