I love this lace shawl pattern, its beautiful and I can imagine some really chunky tassels looking amazing in place of those pom poms.

There is a great range in this set of patterns, it feels like the perfect choice for knitting all those stocking fillers!  This pattern is sized for up to 12 year olds which means that if you like the pattern - it will likely be big enough for an adult (or you just keep going on the repeats until it's the size you want!)

The yarn it's written in is sadly discontinued, but you could try King Cole Chunky Tweed which has jewel tone colourways with a enjoyable fleck!
