Is it just me or does the colour blocked one look like ice cream? It's got pockets, a really simple but interesting grid design, and the thing I love about grids in knitting and crochet is that you can't stop until you've reached the end of that square. So, although it's a long thing and a long garment and a lot of people are put off by the length, the grid thing will keep you going. 

This sample has been made in King Cole Timeless Chunky, a soft blend of alpaca and premium acrylic with some gorgeous vintage shades. You'll need 6mm and 5mm needles along with stitch holders.
