Gosh I was so impressed when King Cole came up with this set of patterns. I think they're sleek, modern, and wearable, and I actually like how they've styled them, even with the white jeans...

I would be tempted to leave out the slits, sew it all the way down the bottom and make a cute little dress. If you do this and you've got a fat bum like me, you're going to want to either cast on a bigger size and decrease where necessary, but an easier way of doing this is to just do this in a bigger set of needles.

These tabards have been made in King Cole Forest Aran, a wonderfully flecky 100% recycled yarn, but the pattern mentions that any King Cole Aran yarn can be used. You'll need 4.5mm and 5mm needles.
