Sometimes, all you really need in life is a good cosy scarf and a beanie to match. Sometimes, you need three of them. And, sometimes, you come across a gorgeous King Cole pattern that has three sets, one with lace, one with a cable, and one with a nice moss-ribbed texture. And, then, you love your life and you're proud of your skills and you're warm throughout the winter. 

This has been written in King Cole Drifter Subtle Chunky, but if you want some colour variegation the actual Drifter Chunky would work well, or even the Timeless Chunky with a twist of alpaca fibre. You'll need 5mm and 6mm needles, a 5mm 80cm circular needle for the moss rib shawl, and a cable needle for the cabled patterns.
