I appreciate the way that these pieces have been styled but I also think they'd work for a smarter outfit too. That cardigan, nice and tight (perhaps with a shorter sleeve) would work beautifully over a going out dress wouldn't it? Or a sort of 50's style, pouffy skirt too. 

These have been knitted in King Cole Homespun DK, and you'll need 3.25mm and 4mm needles to make it up. Stitch holders are necessary, along with five buttons for each pattern.
