I'm so glad King Cole have released a crochet pattern or two with this new line of yarn-shades. These shawls are absolutely gorgeous, and they really make the most of the variegated and self striping nature of the King Cole Summer 4ply. On the front we've got a gorgeous half-circle shawl with a bit of lace and a wavey edge, but on the back is an uber-modern shawl with jagged edges. I really like the back cover one, but both make such gorgeous summer projects.

While these of course look brilliant in the King Cole Summer 4ply, if you're looking for a winter shawl then these would look gorgeous in the King Cole Merino Blend 4ply, with its super soft nature and a cosy wool content.

You'll need a 4mm hook.
