The patterns that King Cole have designed for the new Cosy Love Aran show that texture in a pattern doesn't always have to detract from a self-patterning yarn like this one. I think on the blanket the texture enhances it, but to me it's the green cardigan with the plain sleeves and textured body that works the best. That's proof that you don't have to be afraid of mixing the two - plus, it's just a really gorgeous pattern. You've got a dress, a cardigan, a hat and a baby blanket, so you've basically got a fully knitted baby.
