I've said it time and time again, but there's absolutely nothing better than dressing your baby up like a grandparent. With all of the gorgeous texture these cables have to offer, you get a shawl collar cardigan, a super-cute waistcoat, a hat.. and then there's the blanket, which if your kid has a little rocking chair, they could sit in with their knees all warm on the front porch, shouting at kids to get off their lawn. Perfect.

Jokes aside, this is a really good multipattern from King Cole, with enough to keep you busy for a while. It's written in the King Cole Bumble Chunky, a brand new speckled baby yarn in some lovely pastel coloursways. You'll need a cable needle, 5.5mm and 6mm needles, and 8mm needles for the blanket.
