Ohhh god this is gorgeous. I've been gushing about how Homespun DK has overtaken Riot as my favourite yarn in the shop (I blame the Prism) and this pattern just shows off the speckledy floofy goodness of it so much. This is a proper classic cable cardigan and jumper set, with a cable that doesn't overwhelm the garment but gives it the texture needed to emphasize Homespun's nubblyness. There's very little I can say about this pattern because it just speaks for itself. It's gorgeous.

If you don't want to use the King Cole Homespun DK, the cables would really stand out in something like the Subtle Drifter DK, a super-soft blend of acrylic, cotton and wool. You'll need 3.25mm and 4mm needles, a cable needle, and stitch holders.
