I just think this is SO eye catching! I absolutely adore the bright colours and think they match so well with the pattern - let's not think too deeply about sewing in all the ends... Do it as you go for sure and it will be worth it in the end. Nice and simple lace, nice and simple garment shape, this would be a great first garm! 

It's written for the Pricewise DK which is a fantastic, basic acrylic and a really great place to start if this is your first garment. You might prefer a natural fibre though and if you do I suggest either the Bamboo Cotton for the fab drape or the Luxury Merino DK for super snuggly but also stitch definition. You'll need some 4mm needles too, some stitch holders and a single (beautiful) button for the cardigan.
