Doesn't the zebra remind you of Bagpuss? I love them and they need to be loved forever. I'm loving how they're basically the same pattern just with different colours (and one has a horn on its head). So cute, so effective, and so sweet. This has been written for DK yarn but if you're daring and perhaps a little mad like I am, you could make these in a super chunky yarn and have a MEGA HORSE/ZEBRA/UNICORN. Best idea ever.

We're recommending King Cole Pricewise DK for this pattern, as it's super hard wearing and works great for toys. 

You'll need 3mm needles and some toy stuffing!
