Dinosaurs are the quintessential children's toy - educational, exciting and just a little bit dangerous. 

This dinosaur is particularly exciting as an easy knit so it is perfect for newbie knitters. Knitted using just one set of 5mm needles and King Cole Tinsel Chunky  which is an eyelash yarn to give the fuzzy, sparkly (and totally natural) look. If you wanted to give this as a gift for a baby you could try knitting in King Cole Big Value Baby Chunky (I would suggest the lovely soft grey colour for a gender neutral dino) and embroider the eyes.

For finishing they will also need 10mm or 15mm safety eyes and toy stuffing.
