Baa Ram Ewe - Fancy Hen pattern

Fancy Hen is knit from the bottom up. Her comb sections and beak are knit separately and sewn on. With the addition of a few large pebbles at the base, Fancy Hen could make an ideal doorstop or bookend. Otherwise keep her soft for use as a cushion or toy.

Fancy Hen loves to strut about the smallholding with an endearing mix of trepidation and pomp.

Eden DK in shades:

Snowcap (MC) x 80g

Horizon (CC1) x 40g Canyon (CC2) x 5g

Alternatively, use any DK weight yarn.

3mm/US 2.5 25cm/10” long DPNs or 3mm/US 2.5 80cm/32” circular

2.5mm/US 1.5 DPN

2 buttons for eyes; tapestry needle; 1 stitch marker; scrap yarn; toy stuffing
