Eleanor's Wedding Day
Opal Uni 4 Ply
Here's our basic sock yarn that we have in all year round. It's nothing to get too excited about unless you get excited about really great value sock yarn that wears like iron and comes in a billion colours (and we do!). You can use this for all sorts of other things too - shawls, garments, baby stuff, colourwork.
It works really nicely when held together with some of the brighter hand dyed concoctions (I know I've bought gorgeous skeins on a whim before and the awe I felt at buying hasn't quite translated in the making... This just calms everything down a little). I've added a bonus photo from my wedding day - the cardigan is the Natural colourway that I hand dyed in shades to complement the dress.
