We've taken a simple Fairisle hat pattern from Rowan's 'Carousel' pattern book and added the yarn and our favourite brand of needles required to make it so that you can have a go at following a Rowan pattern, see what you think to the yarn (spoiler alert: It's gorgeous to work with) and have needles that you can use again and again.
The pattern uses the remaining wool to make a PomPom or why not upgrade to one of ourHandmade Faux Fur Pom Poms
