Join our drop in sessions and dedicated instagram group chat to make the Helmsdale shawl. Hannah will be on hand to help with any tricky bits as you knit your shawl. There are no floats longer than 3 stitches so it makes this a really good beginner project that looks very impressive and doesn't take too long to do. Joining the make-a-long gets you 10% discount in the store on the drop session dates, there'll be drinks and snacks available to keep your mind from boggling!

About the yarn: Rowan Mohair Tweed is a brand new refined blend of merino and mohair. This tweed-effect yarn is both durable and soft, with excellent stitch definition. Perfect for textured knits and stranded colorwork, it offers a traditional, timeless feel with a gentle handle.
Fibre: 70% Merino Wool & 30% Mohair

Stocking Stitch Gauge: 21sts by 28 rows over
Sizing: Excluding edging, completed shawl measures 55cm (21 3/4") along cast on edge, and 57.5cm (22 3/4") along straight row end edge. Sloped (longest edge) measures approx 79.5cm (31 1/4").
Needles required: 1 pair 4mm (no 8) (US 6) needles, 2 douple-pointed 4mm (no 8) (US 6) needles.
