This is an exciting one for us, our first local yarn from just down the road!
Whorlwool is Handmade by Liz using a traditional spinning wheel in Melbourne, Derbyshire. Hand Washed, handspun and hand dyed using rare breed Portland fleece from Calke Abbey and Melbourne, this hands on approach makes each ball unique, supports local farmers and gives crafters something real to work with.
1Ply (Worsted DK) - A more rustic yarn (great for accessories), each ball is 80g approx 75 meters
2Ply (DK) - A softer yarn (great for accessories or garments*), each ball is 70g approx 90 meters
