Love these modern cardis with a nod to the sweet 1950's style. You've got the option of knitting to ease that is suggested on the pattern but if you make a size or two smaller and knit a few less inches before the armhole you're going to get a super cute, neat sweater to wear with a full circle skirt. 

The patterns are written for the King Cole Cottonsoft DK but don't forget the rest of the Cottonsoft range: King Cole Cottonsoft Candy DK, King Cole Cottonsoft Crush DK or the King Cole Baby Crush DK. 

Knitted on 3.25mm and 4mm straight needles, stitch holders for the sweater and a cable needle.
