There's a lot of people in the shop who tell me you can't match lace with printed yarns or stripes and this pattern is here to tell you that that just isn't true. It's not to say it's always the best idea but, if treated respectfully, you can see it works fantastically. I also think, although we know clothes have no gender, this is a great example of how lace can be shown in a more masculine way - I suppose it's when the lace resembles cables. 

The pattern is written for the King Cole Cottonsoft Candy DK which is interchangeable with the King Cole Cottonsoft DK. You'll need some 3.25mm and 4mm needles, some stitch holders as well as a cable needle.
