I just adore the choice of colours for these simple patterns - the Cherished is a baby yarn so often the colours are quite subdued but they've picked nice bright ones for nice bright kids. The shapes and the stitches are simple enough so make the most of the colours. 

It's written for the Cherished DK which also comes in a stripy option - the Cherish DK. You'll need some 3.25mm and 4mm needles, some stitch holders and some stitch markers.
